The Pride of Workmanship Awards is a brainchild of our own Rotary District 9685 instigated in 1975.  Its aim was to encourage more pride by Australians in their vocations.  Its theme is “Do it once. Do it well. Build a better Australia”.  It had its own dedicated presentation ceremony where recipients were presented with the award.  The Pride of Workmanship Awards strengthened the connection between Rotary clubs and local business communities.  Recipients are grateful for the recognition awarded to them and acknowledgement of their community involvement.
