"I’ve worked for TJ Andrews Funeral Services since March 2011, and was employed to take over their Hornsby Branch as Manager, so I’ve now been with the company for almost 4 years.
My working life began at age 14 in Hardware with my father, in the business commenced by my grandfather, when I began cutting keys, learning the business, and as well, took over the monthly accounts. I continued doing my father’s accounts for his business for the next 25 years.
My grandfather was about to commence study for the Priesthood in Rome when he died from a heart attack. He would have joined the other 22 members of our family who have either entered Religious Life, or have taken Holy Orders.
During my years of employment I’ve worked in home and car insurance, for specialist doctors and also as a bookkeeper. I’ve trained in counselling, management, human resources and marketing.
I enjoy kayaking, movies, music, traveling and learning. I love my family and my country. I’m a Justice of the Peace, and as well, recently have become an Affiliate Member of the RSL, joining ANZAC House in Sydney, eligible because my grandfather and uncle both served in The Imperial Forces during WW1.
I have three children and currently, six grandchildren aged between 16 and years, and I see them as often as I possibly can."
