Nick Hossack is an economist and public policy consultant. He advises banks and financial institutions on government policy and the regulation of the financial sector. Prior to his own consulting business, he was director of policy at the Australian Bankers Association and was also an adviser to prime minister John Howard MP. He is also columnist at the Australian Financial Review.
