Assoc Professor Brindha Shivalingam is a Neurosurgeon who operates at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. She has often been on the TV show RPA. Brindha will speak about the history of Neurosurgery and her life in this career. She will then focus on her passion for changing the outcomes for patients with brain cancer and highlight the cases of Prof Chris O’Brien and Prof Richard Scolyer. Lindsay May OAM - His view of the 2025 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Lindsay, who has completed 50 consecutive Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races, will speak about the 2025 race, sharing what actually happened on the water — the conditions, challenges, decisions and moments that defined this year’s event from a sailor’s perspective. Min River was declared the Overall winner of the 2025 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, making her owner, Jiang Lin, the first woman to ever win the race and together with her co-skipper Alexis Loison they also became the first double handed crew to lay claim to the famous Tattersall Cup – a day of historic significance in the race.
