My talk is about my many careers, starting in 1958 and finally retiring in 2011.
 
 
1958 to 1964:   Great Northern Railroad (Spokane, WA).   Worked as a “gandy” and timekeeper in the kitchen for rail Relay Gang West, then as a night Switchman, and finally as a Breakman building trains in the yard.   In the meantime studying for my college degree.
 
 
1964 to 1986:   Officer in US Army:

1986 to 1990:   Team Leader at RDA Corp and Titan Corp providing support for all major simulation exercises across the US Army.
 
 
1990 to 1992:   Military Simulations Analyst at Price Waterhouse Urwick in Sydney.
 
 
1993 to 2007;   Boeing Corp (Sydney and Seattle)   Proposals and Communications Manager at Boeing Australia, Ltd.   Then Manager of Training and Support for AWAC Systems for The Boeing Co in Seattle, WA (including an extended involvement and a terrorist bombing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.)
 
 
2009 to 2011:   Surveillance Detection Coordinator in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security for the US Consulate in Sydney.
 
 
2011:   Retirement!
