Lane Cove Youth Orchestra Fund Raiser for 7 yr old Boy with Leukaemia

Vice President Lindsay May recently officiated as MC at a fund raising event for Dante Saya who has Leukemia.   The event raised over $3,000. 

On Monday 23 March his sister April Saya donated 1 litre of bone marrow for her brother.  April is shown in the photo below, next to Lindsay performing his MC duties.

Mark Brown, the conductor  of the LC Youth Orchestra, had his head shaved by Cr Deborah Hutchens (Deputy Mayor) as part of the event.
