INTERNATIONAL COMMITEE NEWS. (THE GOOD AND THE BAD!)

A full crew aboard for our second meeting of the year. 

           First the good news!

          The Nusa Tengarra Association advised to proceed with our third round of assistance in the Nusa Tengarra Timor (NTA) Indonesian

          Small Grants Project.   Grant $7000.00.  (Chris for information)

           Early stages in arrangement of a two week tour during May/June 2015 in the NTT region of southern Indonesia.

          The University of NSW has advised that the Myanmar Project relating to the formation of a new constitution has been revived.

           Budget $15,000,00.  (Harry and Roger for details)         

           Proceeding with an application for 'The One Award'.   Dr Colin Barlow CEO of NTA to be nominated.  (Chris and Roger for details)

          A barefoot bowling day fundraiser will be arranged at the West Lane Cove Bowling Club on November 9.    (Phil Wade for details)

          Now the bad news!!

           Due to  misadventure the date of  our International Meeting (which could have been rescheduled) coincided with a  VIP club meeting to greet the District Governor.  Not a good trick!   (Chair Dick for details!!!)
